Along time ago that man and woman used to live around here. They cared for this land. During the passing of time—they became tired and needed a rest. So they chose to lay down on the hill top so they can see what was happening to this area. The Creator told them they could have a time of rest, and when it is time, they will awaken. When the two were caretakers of the earth everything was good. During the passing of time the land and rivers have been damaged. We
have lost much of the forests, trees, animals, and fish. All these unfortunate occurrences happen due to the destruction of MOTHER EARTH. After their time of rest, “The Giants”, will awaken and see all that has happened to the earth and make life good again for the Klallam People.
